Ruta Lee started acting in primary school productions at a very young age, but when she was just 12, her father sold his small clothing store chain. Then they all migrated to Los Angeles. Ruta Lee got enrolled in a school at Immaculate Heart High in Los Angeles in 1950 but later changed to Hollywood High, where she began to take her acting classes seriously.

Family and Personal Life

In 1976, Lee married Texas restaurant executive Webster B. Lowe Jr. They are very happy with their married life and is about to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in a couple of years. They share a considerable amount of time in different homes in Hollywood, Palm Springs, Fort Worth, and Mexico. She, unfortunately, has no children.
