In 2013, Tarek was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Doctors recommended radiation treatment to him. Then Christina decided to bank Tarek’s sperm and try in vitro fertilization. Through this, they have a second child. After the first vitro attempt failed, Christina suffered a miscarriage. She became pregnant in 2015.
